Thank You, 2015!

Hello Everyone, 

I have been reading a lot of "Dear 2015" posts, and you see lots of pictures on Facebook and Instagram about how 2015 sucked and that it was generally a bit crappy.  However, as a person I always like to look at the positive, and although some stuff in 2015 was a bit shitty, for me the majority of it was pretty awesome.  I think it would be really great if we all take a look back on 2015 and say "thank you".  But its always nice to look back on a year and think what was good about it and how have you grown in the past year.  And that's what I am going to be doing here.

What I Got For Christmas | Beauty

Hello Everyone,

How was everyone's christmas? Mine was pretty amazing and very special! My cousin got engaged and we had a big family reunion since I have been away for a while at univerisity.  It was also the first christmas in a few years that my uncle has been back from working abroad, so it was very special since everyone was together.

Hope you all are having an amazing christmas and spending lots of time with family and friends.  I am currently at my grandparents house with the entire family and we have had a lovely day opening presents and eating gorgeous food!

Day 23: DIY £1... Unique, Personal, Quick and Easy

Hello Everyone,

For todays blogmas I am doing a quick post on a DIY that's perfect for any friend, colleague, family member or anything.  It is also quick and easy and VERY cheap!

This is a DIY Personalised Wine Glass, but obviously this can be related to a beer glass, or any other glass! This entire concept can be modified to the receiver :)

Day 24: Warm, Glowy Christmas Makeup

Hello Everyone,

So its CHRISTMAS EVE, can you believe it? I bloody well can't! As if it has been a whole year since last christmas??? Where the hell does the time go? I surely don't know.  But it has come and tomorrow we will all be with our families opening presents and giving presents (which I know sounds cheesy, but I love that just as much! I love seeing whether they love the gift just as much as I thought they would.)

But I thought a nice Christmas Eve post, would be a gorgeous festive makeup tutorial, but a much more intense look than my previous one.  This has a warm, glow to it, with some festive cranberry colours which I think are gorgeous for this time of year.  However, I would wear this all year round :)

Day 22: What's In My Overnight Makeup Bag?

Hey Everyone,

I am sorry for coming back a bit late, however once I got home I did not realize how busy I was going to be and I was distracted by my family. However, I am back now and ready and excited to get back into my blog! So let's not waste any more time and jump straight into it.

So, today I am staying over at Lucy Ann's house having a catch up, and our mini christmas, so I thought I would do a quick 'what's in my over night makeup bag'!

Blogmas Apologies

Hey Everyone,

Just needed to write this quick post about blogmas and the missing posts right now.

So, the plan was to blogmas and I really enjoyed writing them up to a point and had a lot of good posts planned however, as I got into it, I kind of get very into the posts and end up spending hours writing and then talking to you all on twitter and google+ etc... And at this point right now I can't afford to spend that time on my blog as I have really important exams in less than a week.

So unfortunately I am not going to be posting any posts for a couple of weeks, I love blogging and its because I love it and want to spend time on it that I can't post right now.  I'm so sorry but will come back around the 18th of December with a bunch of posts to make up for all that I have missed.

But anyway, hope you are all having a great december and everyone doing blogmas I wish you the best.  But I will speak to you all later on in December and will be coming back strong!

Day 4: Maybelline Colour Tattoo, EPOW | Blogmas

Hey Guys!

Quick post just now showing my EPOW (eye product of the week) :)

This weeks is maybellines colour tattoo in 65-Pink Gold.  I love this colour and think it is gorgeous on its own or underneath eyeshadows.  Pinks are some of my favourite colours to wear therefore this is the perfect primer to enhance your colours.

I don't own any MAC paint pots therefore I can't compare but I do love this cream eyeshadows and won't go splurging my money on MAC's any time soon!

One of my favourite looks is this underneath MAC's pigment in Rose and then putting MAC's Uninterrupted through the crease and under the waterline.  (tutorial coming soon) It is a gorgeous look that has warmth and depth to it.  I love it!









So just a quick post for today and hope you all have had a great week and an exciting weekend ahead.  I have spent way too much time today on my blog and should have spent that time doing revision for my exams that are in a week.  Ekkk, help me!

P.s- if anyone has any tips to help with beauty blogging using a Lumix G5 would be muchly appreciated as it is giving me hell right now!

Day 3: Christmas Festive Face | Blogmas

Good Evening Friends,

So for my second post today I am going to do a quick look I have done which is my take on my christmas themed day/night look depending on your style.

I love this look as its so festive with the green eyeshadow but not overpowering or too in your face.  For this I haven't done a step by step tutorial, but that will be the plan for the future.  But today I have just done a look and I'll tell you what I used and where I put everything :)

Good Evening Everyone,

Sorry about not posting today, I just wanted to quickly apologise to let people know that I am sticking to my schedule and that is an important thing for me, however today was just not possible.  I have only just got into bed and had any time to browse really.  

I was in Glasgow today for a lacrosse match which was awesome! We won 23-2 and I am so proud of my team and we went and nailed it! But that took up most of the day and then I went to go see a pantomime today that was hunger games themed and that was brilliant too! 

But only just got back and wanted to update and let you all know that tomorrow will be featuring two posts to catch up for today and they will be a November Favourites, which I am very excited about, and then a quick look which I have been wearing whenever I have a dinner or party that has been Christmas themed.  So they will be going up, one in the morning and the other in afternoon.

MAC What a Dame! Highligher | Review

Hey Everyone,

So today I have a little review for you of the MAC What a Dame! highlighter.  This came out a while ago with a limited edition Dame Edna collection, and that means it has this cute glasses sticker on the top.

I like the packaging, I think its cute, although over time the sticker has become a bit worn and doesn't age particularly well.  But I really like that it has a mirror on the inside, as that is always handy.

Revlon Coffee Shimmer | LPOW

Hey Everyone,

Good evening, I just got in from a christmas dinner and it was such a lovely evening and felt like writing a short post for you all!

So I think I have decided to do a couple of really short posts a week which are a lip product of the week (LPOW) and an eye product of the week (EPOW). I'm not sure those names are catchy...  Let me know if you would be interested in this? I will literally be writing one paragraph on how I feel about this product and why I like it, and then give swatches, pictures etc...

So to start, for this week the feature is.... Revlon's Coffee Shimmer lipstick.

I LOVE this lipstick so much! It is a gorgeous metallic, brown, coffee... colour and is just so unique! And it is from revlon so its nothing more than £6, although not sure how much this one was.  It has a really nice application and is not drying at all, and is very smooth.  It does come out a lot more brown in person, so the picture is a little bit deceiving, but it is gorgeous and I love it.  It is not an every day, wear to class lipstick, but its perfect for going for drinks, or dinner, and to be honest I will wear it just to go shopping because I think its stunning.

Let me know if you like this and think its a nice little post for the week.  I have a good few posts lined up for the next few weeks, although I can't promise the most consistent of posting because I have my december exams, but I will try my best :)

POUNDLAND Travel Mug £1 BARGAIN | AnnabelReid13

Just a quick post today to let everyone know about this awesome deal currently going on in Poundland!

I have a bit of an obsession with thermos's and mugs and all that lovely good stuff, and as I was browsing in Poundland I found this gem! Its a thermos with a cute christmas pattern, and of course it was only £1!! I will say that I know some Poundlands are different and I purchased mine from the Poundland in Edinburgh on Nicholson Street.  I have already been using it and I really like it.  I shook it with water in and very little leaked, however walking to class today there was some leakage.  But I think I overfilled it or something.  But for only a pound its just good because it kept my tea nice and warm for my walk to uni, whereas my normal cup is not a thermos right now and so I have to drink it on my way otherwsie its cold.

And theres cheeky Santa, hiding in the background ☃

So for only £1 I really recommend it, but the Costa ones are much better and they are only £3, so depends on what suits your fancy.  The Costa ones don't leak at all, so I would definitely recommend them!

Makeup Revolution | Haul and Swatches

I'm back today with a haul from Makeup Revolution that I was really excited to recieve and write about.  This was initially a first impressions etc, but since taking the pictures I have used some of the products and I now have a much better opinion and view on these products.  So lets get straight into the haul/swatches/review :)

Fragrance Direct, CHEAP | Haul

Just today I recieved a package from FragranceDirect.co.uk.  This is an awesome site where you can get a major discount on many beauty products:  makeup, body products, perfumes and gift sets.

I thought I would show you some of the things I bought from here and my initial reviews.  I have bought from this site before many times and have always been very pleased with the service and with the products I have recieved.  Especially for the amazing prices, with savings of at least 50% or more!

I would like to keep in mind that the pictures are not the best quality and I understand this, I am currently at university and away from home and my camera is at home.  I will be getting this camera back in a couple of weeks so the pictures will improve after this.

So I was able to get all of these things (14 items) for £18.56! Its crazy how much you can get for what you pay for.  Also its awesome for me because I am a student on a budget and therefore cannot afford to splurge on all the makeup I want, so this is a perfect website for me to crave my need for makeup!

Fresh Start to Blogging ♥

Hey Everyone!

It has been absolutely ages! 

I lost touch with blogging and for the past two years have changed a lot.  I completely changed my life plans and goals, and although still love acting, am not pursing that anymore.  I am actually really into science.  But that isn't what this blog is about.  

My friend inspired me to do this, as she has bravely just started up her own blog here.  She is writing about beauty, lifestyle and art, as she is an art major.  I would definitely recommend checking her out.  She is an amazing, beautiful person and happens to be my best friend. ♥  

I have been missing sharing beauty related things in life and wanted to do this again.  I tried youtube. Failed.  Was too scary and people are mean haha.  I freaked out and deleted all those videos, and wanted to try and do what I loved back on the blog again.  Everyone is a little bit nicer over here :) 

So, I don't know the direction this blog is going to go in anymore as I haven't thought too much into it and just wanted to get started again.  There may not be too many posts at the start as I am currently studying for my A levels and need to get them grades for university (Edinburgh woo).  

But I want to do this again and start it up.  I love beauty and want to share that with whoever wants to listen.   

I'm excited!
